Cover Twitter? Surely you've heard this because most people used to call twitter background or background image on Twitter. Cover Twitter is one of my title because it is as unique as the design facebook timeline cover. What is unique about the cover twitter background? There are many unique, from the size and variation of the current design it is very different when we are going to make a timeline or facebook fan page design.
Twitter does not offer a whole lot of functionality when it comes to designing the background, but there are plenty of ways to work around this. You can change the color of the sidebar, background and links, and add background images - still or tile. The biggest problem with the Twitter background is the fact that most of the pictures you will be hidden behind the Twitter timeline and menu, leaving space between the edge of your browser and foreground Twitter, as seen below:

The picture above was taken at Mozilla with a screen resolution of 1280 × 662 pixels. The amount of space for the background to this resolution is quite good, but with a smaller screen or an old laptop with a lower resolution space can decrease dramatically and you will need to be able to work around this.
